  • Reports from my DOS program are not captured. Why?
    
    Usually, it is enough for the user to install DOSPRN on the computer and start printing reports from DOS programs. However, there are always special cases.

    • If you previously installed other programs to support printing from DOS programs, conflicts with DOSPRN may occur. I recommend to uninstall such programs completely.
    • If you run DOS programs in VMWARE or VirtualBox virtual machines, you should install DOSPRN in the same virtual machine, and not on the host computer.
    • If you use a specialized virtual machine for DOS programs DOSBOX, please note that you need to install the latest version. Old versions of DOSBOX 0.7x do not allow printing from DOS programs.
    • Make sure that the "Capture port" option is enabled in the main DOSPRN settings window and the LPT that your DOS program uses for printing is selected.
